The Jesus sense of humor.

Well this past Sunday, the visiting preacher at my church talked about “The Seven Steps to Salvation”.  This sermon was a bit different because I was taught that there were about 5 steps to salvation which I must have outlined in previous blog posts. Also, this sermon in itself made me realize the lack of preaching’s on salvation in churches in Ghana, and how much more prosperity and healing dominated the “market” so to speak. However this blog post is not about that and for those who followed my 5 steps to salvation post previously, I’ll sum up the extra two steps at the end of this post. So now legooo!!… This #shipwrecked post is taken from the book of Luke, chapter 20, verse… well the whole chapter. It’s not that long (pinkie swear; the bible tends to do that nowadays). In the early mornings of the resurrection on the first day of the week, the women (most names withheld) found an empty tomb where Jesus had laid. The angels (or holy bouncers at that time) told the wom

Forgive me reader for I have sinned +

Hmmm so how do i start this post? should it be long or short ? Dear Father Reader, i will get to the point because i have not blogged in a while and that is my sin. There i said it. Well you can call me a new man since i last blogged. So lets start our introductions again. I'm still Christian Boy, thats still clear. However there's a few things different about me. You would notice the difference in my wirting when you compare it with my previous posts. I would not be... umm...errrr [writers block, already?!]. Wow, i've really become sloppy. I just hope no one reads this, lol. Umm untill i start recovering from this disease i've acquired which is usually over

What it means to follow Jesus

As a result of Christ's great commission i have been able to type up a tract which was shared in church to aid us in our personal work. i believe you would enjoy it and be enlightened on the true meaning of what it means to follow Jesus Christ. What does it mean to follow Jesus ( if you think you know, well think again...) The most rewarding life is Christianity. It truly pays to serve Jesus- now and eternally. The challenge of loyalty before God is exacting and exciting. To follow the shepherd “… wherever He goes…” (Revelation 14:14) will take us too many demanding regions and even thee shadow of death. But to those who bring even their thoughts into captivity unto Christ (2 Cor 10:5), it is a journey that always eventuates in triumph (2Cor 2:14). As the songwriter aptly stated: “the toils of the road will seem nothing when we get to her end of the way. Serving the lord means self-denial (Luke 9:23) ;   a pilgrim journey in a foreign land (1peter 2:11); a devotion tha

Where am i?

I open my eyes. Wet, i'm all wet and in the middle of the ocean. But for some reason i'm not drowning even though i can't swim. Its amazing! The sky and the ocean seem to be touching  with the same hue of blue and somehow, i cant tell the difference between floating and flying. My eyes are not stinging. and i wonder what kind of water im in. its fresh water. then i realise that this must not be the real ocean. I see a figure coming up to me. i cant recognise it at first but then as it gets closer, it looks more and more like a ship. It gets realy close to me and as if by some command, it stops right beside me, as if to say "well...what are you waiting for?" there's a rope laddre to its side and i grab on to it adn start climbing to the deck. i get on deck and to my suprise, theres no one there. there's a still silence and the only sound is the steps of my feet as i walk around inquisitively. Its not an extraordinary ship. in my opinion, it looks quite sran
